McLaren Formula 1 driver Lando Norris has unveiled plans to expand the Landostand for the 2026 British Grand Prix at Silverstone. After claiming his first home win in 2025, demand for tickets has skyrocketed, prompting Norris to deliver a larger and improved grandstand experience for fans.

Norris Shares Exciting Plans

“Hi everyone, so Landostand, as you all know, was the coolest thing we’ve ever done this year at Silverstone,” Norris said in a video message to fans.

“Topped it off by winning the grand prix, and it was the coolest year I’ve ever had at Silverstone. But, the demand was high, and we couldn’t just do it once – we’re going to have to do it again.”

“Because the demand was so high last year, we sold out in a few minutes. We have to do it a lot bigger and a lot better, so that’s what we’re trying to do for next year. Planning is already in place [for] much, much bigger grandstands, a much cooler experience for everyone, and I’m already excited for the whole thing.”

“So, tickets are going out today [Monday 15 September]. It’s a very special day, for Landostand next year in Silverstone. I’m incredibly excited, it’s going to be amazing and thank you very much for your support.”

Ticket Details and Fan Features

Tickets for the 2026 Landostand went on sale on 15 September. Prices remain fixed at £539 for three days and £569 for four days. Each package offers:

  • A reserved seat in the newly designed Stowe Corner grandstand
  • An exclusive fan pack including the 2025 Landostand t-shirt and wristband
  • Access to a dedicated Lando Norris fan area with live entertainment and a giant screen
  • Silverstone officials confirmed that pricing has been kept uniform “at the same price for all fans.”

Intense Championship Battle

Norris’s announcement arrives in the middle of a gripping title race. He currently trails teammate Oscar Piastri, who leads the standings with 324 points, while Norris is second with 293 points. With eight rounds left in the 2025 season, the battle for the world championship is wide open.

The 2026 British Grand Prix Landostand is set to be one of Silverstone’s standout attractions, promising fans a larger venue and an unforgettable atmosphere as they cheer Norris on home soil.
