Tevin Imlach came in next but lasted just 13 balls before falling to Kuldeep Yadav for 12 in the 90th over. Kuldeep then struck twice in quick succession, removing Roston Chase (40) and Khary Pierre (0) in the 92nd over as West Indies slipped further.

The visitors breached the 300-run mark in the 93rd over but couldn’t build on it. Warrican departed for 3 at 307, followed by Anderson Phillips for 2 at 311. By the end of the session, the West Indies were 311/9, with their last pair holding on through a 50-run partnership off 73 balls.

With several fixtures still to come in 2025, Siraj has a chance to widen the gap at the top of the Test wicket-takers tally.
