Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Ayush Mhatre – Players to Watch

Vaibhav Suryavanshi is one of India’s brightest young cricketing talents. Earlier this year, he scored a stunning 58-ball century against Australia in a Youth Test in Chennai. Though his red-ball form in England was quiet, he was the top scorer in the ODI series. India won that series 3-2, and Suryavanshi’s aggressive strokeplay was key to the victory.

Ayush Mhatre had a strong outing in England as well. He scored 340 runs in two Tests, both of which ended in draws. The Mumbai batter is already part of India’s domestic circuit and will continue to lead the U19 side in Australia.

A Crucial Tour for India U19

This tour will test India’s next generation on fast and bouncy Australian pitches. It offers a chance for young players to prove their mettle before the next U19 World Cup. Performances here could shape their international careers.
