BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla congratulated the Indian women’s cricket team after their sensational semifinal win against Australia. He described it as a brilliant display of skill and composure and voiced his belief that the team will overcome South Africa in the Women’s World Cup 2025 final on November 2.
“The Indian Women’s Cricket Team performed brilliantly. I can see that the future of women’s Cricket in India is very bright. The manner in which they beat Australia and chased such a big target they performed fantastic. I am very hopeful that on 2nd November, we will defeat South Africa and win the final. We will be the World Cup champions. Women’s Cricket team will see a meteoric rise,” said Rajeev Shukla to ANI.
