Manchester United are reportedly pursuing a move for Jobe Bellingham, with the young midfielder’s future at Borussia Dortmund uncertain. The Jobe Bellingham transfer story has caught the attention of several Premier League clubs as the teenager continues to see limited minutes in Germany.
The Daily Mail claims that Manchester United are among those closely tracking him. After leaving Sunderland for Dortmund in the summer, the 19-year-old started the opening two Bundesliga fixtures but has since found opportunities scarce.
The Mail adds: “Ruben Amorim is a huge fan of the younger Bellingham brother and could anchor a United move for his services.”
Crystal Palace have also shown interest, setting up a potential Premier League transfer battle. “Marcel Sabitzer and Felix Nmecha are currently preferred in the middle of the park by [Niko] Kovac, ahead of Bellingham.”
Aston Villa Look to PSG for Lee Kang-in
Unai Emery is reportedly considering a reunion with Paris Saint-Germain talent Lee Kang-in as Aston Villa look to reinforce their attack. As per Birmingham Mail, the club could return to PSG for another loan deal in the January window.
Birmingham Mail adds: “Aston Villa wants to sign Lee Kang-in. The South Korean winger has struggled to hold down a starting spot in PSG’s stacked attacking line-up, coming from the bench 23 times last season, including the post-season Club World Cup.”
Despite his limited starts, Lee has delivered strong numbers in Ligue 1. “In 59 league appearances in France, the 24-year-old has managed an impressive 19 returns considering his limited minutes, scoring nine and assisting his team-mates on 10 occasions.”
Watford in Talks for Emmanuel Dennis Comeback
Watford are weighing up a third spell for striker Emmanuel Dennis, according to the Daily Mail. The Nigerian forward became a free agent this summer after ending his contract with Nottingham Forest by mutual agreement.
The Mail adds: “Dennis had a successful spell at Watford after joining them from Brugge in 2021. He scored 10 goals in 35 games before Nottingham Forest stepped in to sign him for £10 million a season later.”
Dennis failed to replicate his early success at Forest, spending time out on loan. “He failed to replicate his form at the City Ground and drifted into a couple of loan spells including one at Watford again where he scored four goals.”
While the forward initially preferred to stay in a top European league, he is now more open to Championship offers.
